Urban Forestry is a Blue Mountains based tree service. We do all aspects of tree work, from pruning; removal of dead branches; to full tree removals. We also provide an onsite milling service to those who are interested in turning their backyard tree into beautiful slabs or building timbers.

CARL
Boss
Carl started Urban Forestry over 5 years ago after working for another tree company for 3 years prior. He has a toddler named after his favourite timber (Huon Pine), who more often than not accompanies him on quoting day.
Born and raised in Blaxland, Carl grew up with a love of the bush. He loves rock climbing, mountain biking, wood work, gardening and hanging out with his family at home in Lawson.
Carl has a Certificate III in Arboriculture, a masters in International Development and a Bachelor of arts in Government and International Relations. He is also great at sharpening chainsaws.

Rohan
consultant
Rohan. A lover of Kombies, photography, surfing, skating and life in general. He’s an enthusiastic family man with a pretty adorable little boy called Ziggy.
Rohan is as comfortable with a chainsaw as he is with a camera, which makes him the only lumberjack-wedding photographer I’ve come across.
Rohan has been with us since the start and is a true asset.

Marcello
consultant
Marcello is as strong as an ox and has a wicked sense of Humour. Originally from Chile, he and his wife and 2 boys live in Blackheath where whenever he has the chance he’s out rock climbing or playing soccer with his boys.
Whether it’s because of his long rock climbing history or just a natural knack, Marcello is our star rope man who always has a solution to a tricky rigging problem.
